Stunning country side and great food!
I was lucky enough to make a trip to Finland in November and meet some great people. For a eternal summer guy, it was cold, but not as bad I was expecting. Fortunately I was able to make it out to the forests and see more that just Helsinki. It was absolutely beautiful.
While filling my belly with beer, moose and reindeer (and the best pork schnitzel I've ever had), the folks I was with shared stories of Simo Häyhä and his heroic efforts in the war.
Anyhow, I just wanted to jump on here and say thanks for letting me visit your country and for the lasting impression.
I wrote this song as remembrance: Spotify: Dear Simo
Edit: I'd reply, but I guess I'm banned from the sub. Hopefully I'll get to visit in the summer as other's suggested. Thanks for the comments.

If you liked Finland in November, you will love it in summer.
Might be that you don’t have enough karma/too new subscription so it won’t let you comment.
what most americans dont know is that Simo Häyhä was incredibly modest and didnt want to talk about the war
This Häyhä thing is so weird
