  2. Reiner appeared on Piers’ show recently and condemned the murder of Kirk. Reiner expressed nothing but empathy and kindness to his widow and family. To his credit, Morgan is actually putting himself out there now because of it.

He was at such a hopeful place with his then sober son and their relationship and the movie they made about addiction.

    Addiction and mental illness touch the lives of millions of poor, middle class and rich families. Rob and Michele Reiner had all the money and resources to help their son (and they tried) and to have it end with their murder by him is just depressing.

  25. I’m not interested in a backlash. Trump has posted and said things like this since 2015. Every holiday is an occasion to spend time ignoring the actual day and spend time lambasting his haters and saying cruel things about victims. When people die he often, often categories them and then ranges from blaming them to making it about him. He often jokes about victims of political violence.

    Now there are some people on his camp saying he should delete the post or tone it down…that’s revealing about them too. That’s their criticism. They still support him even though this is who he is…but they think he should not make it so obvious.
