As shitty as a bank BIL may be, I don’t see how this lawsuit will not be immediately thrown out. Maybe, there is more to this which isn’t public that would support their claims.
All the warnings and 2FAs in online banking are there to protect, first and foremost, the banks. If you hand your username, password and one-time code to someone else, its’s effectively the same as giving someone the keys to your safe deposit box.Â
