A 47-year-old man from Elliot Lake has been charged after an incident at a hospital in Elliot Lake.
The man used a bucket to shatter an interior window at the hospital, a chair was destroyed and he became aggressive with staff, said the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police in a news release.
At about 5:30 p.m. yesterday, the OPP were called to the hospital on Spine Road where they arrested a man who was also wanted for failing to appear in court.
Kenneth Neely has been charged with:
Mischief under $5,000 – two counts
Failure to attend court after having appeared
None of the allegations have been tested in court and the accused is considered innocent until proven guilty.
The accused was scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice Bail Court in Blind River today.
