13. Ukraine already has legally binding guarantees that the US will never recognize any occupied territory of Ukraine as Russian, and still Trump says he will recognize them. The only possible “guarantee” by Trump can be boots on the ground or weapons, not papers… and guess what – that’s exactly what Trump is not willing to provide.

14. In hindsight, if Obama was president, Ukraine shouldn’t agree to a security guarantee, look what happened to Crimea, let alone a guarantee from a perpetual lair.

16. Just like the Minsk Agreement! I’m sure Zelenskiy remembers that one, even if the US doesn’t. Doesn’t matter, the US has withdrawn all security guarantees already.

18. It is almost like they think Ukraine didn’t have another agreement that they got shafted on. The arrogance is off the charts. And for what?

    Apart from the intelligence that you have to suspect is being given to Russia at this point, the US is not exactly providing any material aid of note. This is a shakedown, everyone can see it for what it is.
