US advanced nuclear reactor developer X-energy has said that as part of an agreement signed with South Korea power equipment supply company Doosan Enerbility, Doosan has committed to the construction of a new mall modular reactor (SMR) fabrication facility to support the execution of X-energy’s 11 GW commercial pipeline, equivalent to 144 advanced reactors.
