  1. Give a local business a chance

When Cloudflare goes down people are far more forgiving for some reason

  2. LuxTrust owner must be rolling in it and we have no choice in the matter

  3. That’s what happens when you offshore your IT staff.

  4. I read one lady went to hospital and couldn’t be attended because the doc couldn’t access her dossier because of luxtrust.

They sent her home and she couldn’t pay the taxi because couldn’t use the app because of luxtrust.

Luxtrust has cost millions in productivity to the whole industry. Transactions pending. Workers can’t work. Not to mention all the personal issues like the one I mentioned.

And the CEO says it’s just a storage problem. This is even worse than being attacked! It means they redundancy policies are not there!

It’s time the gov stops this monopoly/mafia once and for all.

  5. reason why one should have bank accounts in different countries

  6. Back in 2001/2002 I was working as a Director at one of the big 5 (as was) in Luxembourg. I wrote the first feasibility study for a trusted national PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) for the country, on behalf of the ABBL and other players. I believe I even coined the name Luxtrust internally.

In that document, it was stressed the need for resilience and the use of fault-tolerant infrastructure such as Tandem NonStop* (I had used this in implementing the CHAPS guaranteed payments system on behalf of a major UK bank).

So what happened in between then and now?

*Tandem’s [NonStop](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NonStop_(server_computers)) systems use a number of independent identical processors, redundant storage devices, and redundant controllers to provide automatic high-speed “[failover](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Failover)” in the case of a hardware or software failure.

  7. Guess who is major shareholder of Luxtrust?…. Bingo Post Luxembourg! Again they are messing around. For those who know Post from the professional business side, will not be surprised. Usually what they do is a big shitshow.
