What an amazing moment for her! Crazy to think it seemed like yesterday she was being photographed going to her first day at primary school and now she’s flying solo!
I wish Casa Real would have released the images of the first time she took command of the plane (with an instructor in the backseat) and the images of her solo flight separately because it’s confusing people.
Apparently, according to Spanish media the footage of Leonor flying solo are only the videos taken from the tower of her takeoff and landing because during the first solo flight other planes are not allowed to share airspace. So, there was no second plane to take cool pictures of her flying by herself up in the sky.
The images of her in the air in the plane are of previous training flights.
The last picture is so sweet, she looks so proud – as she should!
Legitimately such a badass!
Her family must be so proud! She’s doing an amazing job. Soon she’ll be done with military training and would likely go to university next.Â
She continues to impress & inspire with her leadership & confidence.
