  5. Rob Reiner made objectively great movies, and people of all stripes loved and respected him for it.

  10. We have no idea what he was like outside of what he presented to us. I doubt anyone here was part of his inner circle of limousine liberals. They don’t live in reality any more than the wealthy conservatives. Neither side protects the middle class and both take advantage of a tax system to protect what they have regardless of the rhetoric.
    I enjoyed some of his work, agreed with some of his positions. His all important position had to be be heard and resorted to name calling and insults showing he can’t make an argument otherwise. I’d bet he was backing Biden when Joe was clearly off his game to the rest of America. And not seeing the world we see, they gave us Trump. Not sure if this was Rob’s MO for all, a select few, a group, or just Trump to get in the news. If you don’t have anything outrageous to say, it’s hard to get attention even for Rob. 
    No doubt, sad what happened.

  12. Sad that loonies James Woods and Laura Ingraham were the most decent trumpers they could find. Horrible humans don’t belong in the same article with a man as decent as Reiner. RIP to them both.
