Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will visit Jerusalem Monday.

There, he will have a private meeting with his Israeli counterpart, Benjamin Netanyahu. The two will then meet with the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, as part of the trilateral Cyprus – Greece – Israel cooperation axis.

The meetings are an affirmation of the commitment to the strategic relationship between Greece and Israel, as well as a willingness to further strengthen the trilateral axis of cooperation.
Mitsotakis will also visit Ramallah, where meet the President of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas.
A note from the Greek government restates that a two-state solution remains Greece’s standing position and that the country wants to act as an honest brokers for the countries of the wider region and contribute to the Gaza peace plan in several ways: humanitarian assistance, reconstruction and a possible participation in the International Stabilization Force.
The Cyprus – Greece – Israel trilateral summit is expected to focus on defense, security, energy connectivity, civil protection and innovation.

The previous trilateral summit was held in Athens at foreign minister level, with Egypt joining on energy talks.
