  1. An Austrian who doesn’t mark it NSFW?! You’re truly the worst.

    Mark It NSFW, quick!

My god, Hannah Fry and DIN. I cant handle it.

  3. I already see her onlyfans account where shes lecturing you about DIN Norms in strong mistress language with a british accent. Even puts in some page turning asmr and boom – Top 1 model in Germany.

  4. Um, DIN 476 is from 1922 but the idea is from the mathematician Georg Christoph Lichtenberg, who proposed it in the 1780s. I was quickly adopted by the French and they introduced their beloved metre as part of its definition. The biggest size was a however quarter of that called “Grand Registre” and it was pretty much identical to A2 paper.

HOWEVER, those papers have one huge snag: each time you fold them the main direction of the fibres changes. That direction in which the paper machine pulled when manufacturing it. So in practice, you need two different starting sizes to have the same properties for the even and odd paper sizes in upright direction.

  5. My Austrian brother, you glazed us too hard, quick call our Schnitzel scheisse or something before I think you actually respect me

  6. While i Always have difficulty remembereing the exact measurement numbers for each scale it is a fantastic scaling system that no american system could ever dare hold a candle to

  7. Wait, savages don’t use A4?

  8. The most beautiful invention of all time is The Metric System, being the foundation for the A series paper dimension and other standards. One of the rare few good things made by the French.

  9. What? i thought this was going to be weirder but this is just astonishing.

    Truly incredible

  10. Dear Susan, the standard is called DIN 476 (Deutsches Institut für Normung Vier!Sieben!Se chs!) not a4.

  11. The only paper that I care about it is toilet papel, and isn’t the size that counts but the smoothness, for that no international norm has been set

  12. Is this comment section ironic or am I just too stupid for the joke?

  13. Oh, no, Hannah Fry and 1 by √2?

The only Susan me and my autistic 15yo son would fight over. And he’d win

  14. Of course Amerdica doesn’t use A4, why did I ever assume anything good of that wretched place

  15. Im not sure Pythagoras would agree with you about all that beautiful complexity thing, man

  16. Today I learned america doesn’t use the A4 format, I thought it was a worldwide thing

  17. Not my proudest wank, almost cut when she began to speak about the savages. Why would you do that, Susan!?

    WHY?!

  18. This is the Susan which explains the thoughts behind all the everyday items. Very cool series.

And yes, she gave me an orgasm explaining A4. So thank you for that, too.

  19. I think I’m in love.
Edited to add yes I’m autistic

  20. and for photos, which traditionally are 3:2, standard for printing is 20×30 or 10×15, nice thing about 20×30 is that it fits well in euro foil that is meant for A4 paper, since it has such close dimensions and there is some room to play

  21. Barry I need to knwo where I can find such a Susan, asking for a friend of coruse
