Just a week after Indian and Pakistani boys squared off in a charged-up atmosphere, they are now preparing for Act II in the final of the Under-19 Asia Cup on Sunday.

The venue – the ICC Academy ground – isn’t far from the Dubai International Cricket Stadium where just a few months ago, their senior teams indulged in three high-octane clashes that saw high tension and emotion inside and beyond the boundary. India, despite winning the trophy, are yet to lay hands on the silverware.

One would have thought that the drama won’t percolate through to the juniors. But last Sunday, it was evident that the colts were taking their cues from the seniors, deciding not to shake hands.
