MALTA, NY (WRGB) — A Malta traffic stop led to the arrest of a Waterford man wanted as a fugitive.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop Thursday at 1:08 p.m. on Old Post Road in the town of Malta. Investigation into the stop led to the arrest of Clyde N. Bowles, 34. Bowles is accused of being a fugitive from justice from the state of Vermont where he is wanted for several drug-related charges and a probation violation.
He was arraigned before the Honorable Ellwood A. Sloat Jr. in the Malta Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings.
