Pavel Muraveiko added that next year’s military security in the region will depend on developments and progress in the military conflict in Ukraine, “Firstly, on these factors. Secondly, on decisions the United States and the Russian Federation will make when discussing a peace treaty. There is a real possibility that tensions and escalation will indeed decrease. Prospects for establishing peace in Ukraine certainly exist. The entire international community is working on this. Common sense will prevail over militaristic ambitions. This country will see peace, and the escalation of tensions will decrease throughout the region,” Pavel Muraveiko stated.
