(Gray News) – Vice President Vance joined Navy SEALs in a beach workout that he said left him feeling like he “got hit by a freight train,” according to a social media post.
Vance, a former Marine who served as a military journalist in Iraq, participated in an exercise at Naval Amphibious Base Coronado in California.

“Just finished PT with the Navy SEALs for 90 minutes,” Vance wrote Monday. “They took it easy on me and I still feel like I got hit by a freight train.”
He continued saying that he’s grateful to all of the warriors who keep us safe and keep the highest standards anywhere in the world.
