Since we have tourists in Norway as well:

1. Maybe there should be a mandatory red T sign to put on the rentals to warn people of incompetent winter drivers?

2. I find it sorta funny (and concerning) that when I got my Norwegian licence (transferring my Australian one) I didn’t have to do any ice/snow driving

3. I’m only half Norwegian but I often hear of foreigners getting into difficult in the winter in Norway, no snow tires and other crazy stuff.

4. Very strange fixation Norway has with attacking tourists. 

   There are weekly if not daily accidents in the press. Often head on collisions cause Norwegians cut corners when driving and struggle to stay in their lanes, especially on the country roads. Several head on collisions recently. Nothing ever said when its Norwegians. 

   Any excuse to be able to look down on the “silly foreigners”. They do the same with avalanches also. First thing mentioned is if theyre foreign.
