23. Easy to call for “unity in divisive times” when you live a life completely removed from the realities most people face, sat comfortably in an ivory tower. Many are struggling with the cost of living, housing pressures, rising everyday expenses, and constant tax increases on their income and savings. Add rising crime and growing societal instability, and speeches like this feel hollow when the real issues mentioned above remain unaddressed.
