  1. >Each had lived quietly in Britain

    Of course.

    >Saadaoui hated mosques, calling them repugnant. He preferred private prayer groups and online Facebook pages where extremists were drawn together by signifiers

On a more serious note, it’s kinda interesting how actually going to mosques tends to get these guys captured faster, since *someone* will eventually report them.

    >he posted on the social media site: “I pray to you Allah not to catch me until I break my thirst with Jewish, Christians and their proxies’ blood.”

    That’s the first guy.

    >He was known for dressing as a follower of IS – including a tool belt that looked like a “suicide belt”

    >he threatened someone at a restaurant, saying: “I am Daesh [IS] and I came to you with slaughter.”

And the second guy. These guys were working with real subtlety apparently.

    >As Saadaoui readied himself to die… (he) started to teach his wife to drive.

No idea what to say about that bit.

  2. 27% downvotes, yet no critical comments about this article. Such a mystery how that came about. Like people are upset that the news is being reported, because they don’t like the news
