Finch West LRT: debris disrupting service

The TTC says there is currently no service on the Finch West LRT due to several problems.

Shortly before 7 a.m. the transit service said debris on the tracks was causing a service disruption and that shuttle buses were replacing regular service between Driftwood and Humber College stations.

Shortly after 8 a.m., the TTC said there were also communications problems between Finch West Station and Tobermory Station.

Shuttle buses are now running to replace regular service on the entire line.

It’s not clear how long the disruption will last.

The TTC has said it is working to speed up service on the sluggish LRT after a slow start several weeks ago.
