The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) confirmed on Saturday that hundreds of thousands of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon rely on UNRWA to obtain essential services.

UNRWA said in a post on the “X” platform, monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), that this year alone in Lebanon, it has provided treatment for 200,000 Palestinian refugees across 26 of its health centers.

It added that it has provided educational opportunities for more than 35,000 students in UNRWA schools in Lebanon.
