  17. Rebuilding Ukraine? There is a war on. Although I guess Canada can phrase the aid however they like. By providing purely economic aid, that frees Ukraine to spend more of their own money on the war.

    First, Ukraine needs us. This is simply reason enough. We are the largest dispora of UA folks outside of UA and RUS. They are us, no other way to view it. They are damn fine Canadians and I will fight for them like I would fight for you.

    Second, we are good citizens of the world. We fight for freedom, fairness and justice. No one can argue that what is being persecuted against the UA citizens is just or right or fair. It. Is. Not.

    Third, as a country we strive to set ourselves apart from our larger, bulkier, much more facist brother to the south. We can do so by resisting and standing our priorities high and up front. Now is our time to pay and show our priorities.
