When I took the 1988 SAT in Germany, U.S. soldiers kept me up all night before the test filling me full of booze. I shouldn’t have driven to the school, and I tried to reschedule to take it at the other high school down the road the next weekend, but was denied. So, I demanded that the proctor write down that I was hungover drunk and had to threaten if he didn’t. Skipping questions and leaving half an hour early, I told him to write that down as well.
When the results came back, our group rattled of their raw scores, and the self-proclaimed biggest airhead in school got the highest raw score, a 1420 back when we didn’t have tutors or computer or infinite examples. Then all eyes turned on me, so I said, “91 Math, 90 English”, and the energy change palpable as one said, “I’m so sorry.”
I’m like, what do you mean? Even on my day, I still score better than more than 9 out of 10 students smart enough to take test.
IQ test manipulation is another quiet front in this war. From what I can tell, today’s C-average student would have been failing when I was in school, but cheating the flunkies to pass them in the growing age of participation trophies makes me wonder about today’s kids who don’t seem to have many of the human skills I was taught and still live as dumbed down Homo sapiens.
The thing I can’t get my head around is, somehow maga thinks that if Bill Clinton raped children then he should be held accountable yet, it negates all of Trump’s raping of children.
I just can’t fathom the twisted logic.
