Irish gender service had ‘no right’ to close wait list to new clients, says HSE boss

The junior health minister for mental health is examining Iceland’s transgender health services as a potential new model of care for Ireland.

Mary Butler travelled to Iceland in recent weeks along with Dr Colm Henry, the HSE’s chief clinical officer, who made the trip at the minister’s request.
