  8. I think we have all seen the clip of Fred climbing that chimney, as if it were nowt- and the bit where he climbs the ladder at a 45 degree angle- on the underside- hundreds of feet in the air….balls of steel!

  16. My (soon to be) father in law is a railway man. His career is he built lines, repaired them, supervised those repairing and building, helped design and implement huge projects. A proper “overall man” by every definition. Always thought he was like Fred.

    Salt of the earth, amazing lad. He didnt care when his daughter was marrying a woman, he didnt care when he found out I was trans. He didnt care when a Muslim family moved to next to him. He didnt care when we both took in Ukrainian refugees. Sometimes he says wrong words, but he learns and does better. He participated in a protest that was pro immigration and refugees, and agaisnt racism and right wing popularism. Be like him, be like my soon to be father in law Frank.
