  11. My state-based insurance went from $900 a month to $1700. I noped out for now. Hopefully, a better solution will become available soon.

The bureaucrats can’t do anything to help struggling Americans, but the great orange pagan Idol/false God Trumpty Dumpty can spend millions of dollars knocking down walls in the White House and paving over the rose garden so he can make much needed improvements like a ballroom shrine to himself.

    It’s now $2200 a month for 3 of us. That’s without even using the damn thing.

  32. The premium for the same plan I had for 2025 is increasing by 20%. Food is getting more and more expensive. Auto and home owner insurance keeps going up. Utilities and gas…up.

    Silver (the precious metal) is going through the roof with no real explanation.

    I’m afraid that inflation is going to be VERY bad in 2026.

  36. My BIL just died from cancer. My FIL had  told us he would cover the expense of his new health plan because it would only go up around 50 bucks a month. When I told him it would likely be around 2k a month for his plan he laughed and told me that wasn’t possible. You’ll never guess who he voted for.

  38. My premium went from $50 to $225. My income did not change.

  39. ACA = Obamacare. The rest of Amrita must learn that they are the same thing and act accordingly.

  41. I know America is pretty uneducated about how the rest of the world operates, but at some point healthcare is going to become the largest issue period as more and more of the Boomers need it.

    The last shut down ended because they “suggested” they’d hold a vote on the Obama care subsides. Considering they decided not to have that vote, I don’t see why another shut down won’t happen.
