“You are welcome,” President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said, inviting US President Donald Trump to visit Ukraine.

  1. I hope things get better in 2026. 2025 hasn’t been a good year on this front.

You can call me too hopeful, but I think it’s possible something will come out of these negotiations. But I could be wrong.

  2. Blah blah blah…
We are closer to peace than ever before…
    Blah blah blah 😒

I am watching a really shitty show with a very bad script. The only thing that scares me the most is that this is real life

  3. I hope this war between the US and Ukraine ends soon.

  4. If he actually got off his fat ass and visited there, I might finally have a fraction of an ounce of respect for the man

  5. Just keep holding out Ukraine. 2026 will be the year where the cracks that have been forming finally begin to have an effect.

Sadly it means you’re going to be having to send a lot more meat through the grinder because Putin uses bodies like bullets, but by now any Russian who doesn’t surrender the moment they can knows full well what they’re in for, so I don’t feel any actual pity for them.

  6. I hope they hold on. If they voluntarily leave the Donbas (in any way), then they might as well surrender. It would be a free pass for Putin.

  7. TACO TACO TACO. It’s always TACO Tuesday at mara lardass.

  8. Ukrainians would have a chance to do the funniest thing…

  9. Tower in Kyiv for …?

Nope, actually supporting democracy would still be too much for this compromised fascist administration.

  10. My hands will turn blue if I shake to many in Ukraine can’t go sorry

  11. When Trump said (around -3.40) that “Russia wants to see Ukraine succeed” – supposedly related to rebuilding- President Zelenskyy couldn’t mask his expression but got it under control quickly, all things considered.

  12. It feels like the current US admin doesn’t really know what the peace they’re looking for actually is. It’s like watching some alien lifeform trying to understand what basic human concepts are while failing all the time.

All this talk of Peace Prizes when the concept of real peace is just not understood.

They seem to think peace is about cutting some kind of “deal”, in which money is traded and then “the killing stops.” As if the whole thing is like buying a property and renting it out in the real estate market or something.

It doesn’t seem to occur to them that there are many different types of killings in war, some justified and some not. That people defend themselves from total annihilation for a reason. That some acts during war are crimes against humanity and some are not. That there are aggressors and defenders. That some countries do not want peace, but want war and destruction because it benefits them and they don’t care about the moral consequences. These concepts just seem totally baffling to the government, whether through ignorance or deliberate siding with an aggressor for perceived financial gain.

Let’s use WW2 as an example. If the Allies totally surrendered to Germany in 1939, the “killing would stop” and there would be “peace”. But what kind of “peace” would it be? It would have been a “peace” that would have lead to the totally evil extermination of hundreds of millions of innocent people. The tyranny of the Axis over the whole world for generations…that “peace” would have been an infinitely worse outcome than the Allies continuing the war and winning.

I miss the days where these basic concepts were understood.

  13. Trump and Vance can’t visit Ukraine, because such a trip would require empathy

  14. I watched some of this. I’m a US citizen. Trump is revolting and an idiot of the highest magnitude. I had t turn it off after a short time, it’s just too difficult to hear him speak. Same old stuff–hoaxes, Putin is my friend, he’s doing Ukraine a favor by not bombing a nuclear power plant, the war would never have happened if I had been president, all previous presidents are to blame for everything, and on and on.

Meanwhile, Zelinskyy ever-so-gently shakes his head in disbelief. I don’t know how he has the stomach to speak with this clod.

    Slave Ukaini!

  15. Orange 47 is an absolute disgrace and a Kremlin agent, Putin arrives and has the red carpet rolled out and he greets him, meanwhile Zelensky does not have a single American government representative when he arrives, instead it is the Ukrainian ambassador and a defence ministry official.

  16. I went. Not easy, but I’m also not the President of the United States of America.

  17. He’ll never visit Ukraine. His boss won’t approve the request.
