JERUSALEM (VINnews) — Israel’s Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology Gila Gamliel posted a selfie on social media platform X on Monday showing her wearing a cap emblazoned with “Make Iran Great Again,” while tagging Reza Pahlavi, the exiled crown prince and son of Iran’s last shah.

The post, captioned simply “Soon” with a flexed bicep emoji and directed at Reza Pahlavi, quickly garnered thousands of likes and reposts.

Gamliel, a member of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party, has been a vocal supporter of Pahlavi’s efforts to promote regime change in Iran.
In September, Gamliel told Iran International that Israel backs the exiled prince, stating that Iranians “trust and back him.” Her comments marked the first explicit endorsement of Pahlavi by a sitting Israeli cabinet member.

Pahlavi, living in exile in the United States, has positioned himself as a leader of opposition to the Islamic Republic and has advocated for a secular, democratic Iran.
The post comes amid ongoing tensions between Israel and Iran, following a brief direct conflict earlier in 2025.
