I remember seeing photos of the American Civil War, some of the first graphic photographs of war ever released, and many of the dead men had pulled their pants down, or unbuttoned their shirts, or lifted them up and apparently it’s a very common reaction, to try and see where you’re hit. It’s a panic thing, so not surprised to see that guy at the end like that. Probably was frantically searching for where he was hit while he bled out.

    War is hell. Russian invader or not, still a human being and imagining those last agonizing moments of panic. Brutal. Everybody was innocent at some point in their life, even if you have to go back to when they were a child. Mourn that person if you can’t mourn the invader and try to appreciate the human cost of war.

  2. can someone enlighten me on why that one guy threw his gun at the drone instead of shooting it? i know that hitting them isn’t easy at all, but trying that is still better than throwing your weapon at it?
