TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – A downtown Topeka business is closing its doors on the very day 2025 comes to an end.
Juli’s Coffee and Bistro, at 911 S Kansas Ave., will close down for good at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31.
In an interview this week, owner Kelly Edkin said Juli’s opened 24 years ago, in 2001, in Rossville. Edkin took on the role of owner in 2016.
She revealed that the COVID pandemic had a real impact on business, and “Despite [their] best efforts to adapt, the reduction in [their] daily customer base has made it impossible for [them] to continue operating.”
Customers are invited to visit Juli’s before they close “to say goodbye, enjoy your favorite drink one last time,” and celebrate the memory of Juli’s.
