GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – As we count down to 2026, many people are getting ready to raise a champagne glass and toast the new year. But for a growing number of Americans, New Year’s Eve is looking a little different.
According to a recent Gallup poll, the percentage of U.S. adults who say they drink alcohol has dropped to 54% — the lowest level in 90 years. More people are also saying that drinking no longer feels healthy for them.
Sip and Sparkle is a family-run Upstate business that specializes in creating delicious and visually stunning mocktails. Chantel Vandevelde works alongside her daughters, Shyenne and Faith Vandevelde, to think beyond the glass — turning celebrations into experiences.
They say garnishes such as fresh fruit or edible glitter can elevate any drink. The family is also sharing one of its newest recipes — a bubbly mocktail that’s easy to make at home.
