  1. Not sure about the superimposed images, but the message was very poignant and spot on. Probably fell on deaf ears and blind eyes to those who ought to know better, unfortunately.

  6. Not one mention of British Lando Norris winning the F1 championship or british legend Ozzy Osbourne but we get a whole section on an American made musical and a nod to a viral advert for holidays?

    Strange one this year.

  7. Fireworks were great.
    Dissapointed by the lack of a drone show again.
    Didn’t like the lazy digital super imposing.

    Wasn’t sure why they spent a load of time talking about England, that doesn’t help with the criricisms of English centralism.

    The field of loads of flags managed to miss the St. Patricks cross..

  8. It was a bit annoying at the beginning when it said “Presented by the Mayor of London” as if he stumped up the cash for it himself and taxpayers had nothing to do with it. Bit of Trump energy going on.

  10. Was not a fan of the superimposed Wicked scenes, nor the lack of drones.

    Really missed the mark this year, in my humble opinion.

  15. Just when you thought Khan’s biblical vanity couldn’t get any worse than the ‘Mayor of London presents’, he had to insert himself in there with his own voice recordings.

    Usual left wing shambles, nothing says national pride like telling the population that the entire world is just as English as we are, declaring loyalty to the EU (again) and some advertising for some crappy musical.

    What used to be a celebration of a significant occasion has become a soapbox with a giant billboard behind it. The true highlight of the occasion is listening to friends and family grumpily complaining about how crap the display is.

  16. It was amazing even just on the telly. I would love to go. But I would be so cold.
