Co-workers at Great Clips in Norman shared details about the moments a car crashed into its storefront on Wednesday, which sent three people to the hospital.
Savine Echonova has been identified as one of the people injured. She was flown to OU Medical Center for treatment from critical injuries.
Echonova’s co-workers say she is expected to fully recover, but it’s unclear how long it will take.
“She is an extremely kind person,” said co-worker Angeleah Castaneda. “One of the kindest people you’ll meet. She’s so down to earth. She loves her kids, loves her community.”
Echonova is also expecting to soon become a grandmother.
While her friends say she wants to return to work when she is able, they say they have worked with her son to setup a fundraiser to help cover medical expenses.
“I’m just hoping to push her GoFundMe further so that she doesn’t have to worry about anything later,” Castaneda said.
The other two people injured — the driver, and a customer — were treated for non-critical injuries.
Investigators have not shared details about what led to the collision.
