CHIBA, Japan — Garden tree growers in the city of Sosa east of Tokyo are stepping up exports to Turkey and other countries in Europe. These arborists in Chiba prefecture are facing the need to explore new markets as they encounter shrinking demand in Japan and regulatory hurdles in their traditional export destinations of China and Vietnam.
