RCMP are investigating a brazen daylight break-in and robbery at a home in Salmon Cove.
Video surveillance captured a man getting off the back of an ATV being driven by someone else. He runs to the home in question and kicks the door in.
The incident occurred around 10:00 a.m. on New Year’s Day. The suspect was wearing a face mask, a camouflage jacket over a grey hoodie, work gloves and dark-coloured pants.
According to the owners, jewelry owned by the family’s deceased mother was taken along with other items.
