Snow and ice throughout Latvia on Saturday, January 3rd morning, make for poor driving conditions, said Latvian State Roads (LVC).

Driving conditions are difficult on the main roads A1, A2, A3, A4, A6, A7, A8, A9, A10, A11, A12, A13, A14, A15, P80.

On regional roads, driving conditions are poor everywhere except around Rīga and Rēzekne.

166 maintenance units are clearing the roads.
