Robbery involving baseball bat under investigation in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) are looking for a suspect after an assault and robbery in Kitchener on Friday.

Officers responded to the area of Victoria Street South and Westmount Road West around 1 a.m. after receiving reports of the robbery.

They found a man who had allegedly been assaulted with a baseball bat at a residence on Mooregate Crescent and had personal property stolen.

He was take to a local hospital and treated for minor physical injuries.

Investigators believe this was a targeted incident and is currently under investigation.
