In accordance with the directive, signed by Head of State Aleksandr Lukashenko on January 6th, scholarships of the President of Belarus for 2026 have been granted to fifty-five graduate students, conducting dissertation research in priority areas of scientific, sci-tech and innovative activities, sb.by reports citing the Belarusian leader’s press service



The research and development conducted by the scholarship recipients focus on relevant and in-demand topics in the fields of technical sciences, chemistry, mathematics, medicine, agriculture and economics, as well as digital technologies, literature, education and Earth sciences.


The results of their work have been integrated into educational programmes and various economic sectors, presented at national and international conferences and published in scientific journals.


The President’s directive aims to encourage the scientific activities of graduate students, attract talented young people to science and promote the development of domestic scientific schools.
