Eugin Group, an international group of assisted reproduction and fertility centres and part of Buenavista Equity Partners (formerly GED Capital), has invested in Spain-based fertility clinic Instituto Bernabeu.
With this acquisition, Eugin becomes the second-largest fertility group in Spain and one of the leading platforms in Europe and Latin America, operating 45 clinics across nine countries, says Interpath on LinkedIn.
The transaction was structured through a unitranche financing provided by Tresmares, an independent private capital fund manager, which also includes a capex line to support Eugin’s ongoing build-up strategy.
Interpath Spain’s debt advisory team (Gonzalo Montes Amayo, Juan Jose Legarda, Côme Vigoureux, CFA and Juan Güell) advised Buenavista Equity Partners and Eugin on the transaction.
