➡️ What’s new: University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) Chancellor Joanne Li, Ph.D., CFA, has been designated by the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s head office Board of Directors as Omaha Branch board chair for 2026.

💡 Why it matters: The Omaha Branch represents Nebraska in the Federal Reserve’s Tenth District, which includes Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, Wyoming, and parts of Missouri and New Mexico.

Directors meet throughout the year to confer on economic and financial developments and business conditions.

Together, they will represent the state of Nebraska and serve as a voice for their respective areas of the state.
