Casino equipment supplier International Game Technology Plc (IGT) says Andy Hendrickson has been given an expanded role as chief product and technology officer (CPTO), “subject to receipt of all required regulatory approvals”.

Mr Hendrickson (pictured) has served as IGT’s chief technology officer (CTO) since joining the merged IGT and Everi business in 2025.

Hector Fernandez, who officially took up the group chief executive role for the merged enterprise in December, was quoted as saying: “Andy’s leadership as CPTO ensures tighter alignment between our products and processes, and how we leverage world-class talent across our global game studios to create value.”

Mr Hendrickson said in prepared remarks: “I believe IGT has the ingredients to deliver industry-leading products and solutions to our customers, and with the strength of our game studio talent, disciplined content creation and product management, we are well-positioned for growth and innovation.”

From July 2021 to March last year, Mr Hendrickson was CTO at Australia-listed slot machine maker Aristocrat Leisure Ltd.

Earlier, he had served as CTO of Activision Publishing Inc, a United States-based video game publisher, overseeing technology for console game franchises, including “Call of Duty”, “Crash Bandicoot”, and “Sekiro”.
