Iraq’s Basrah crude grades climbed on Thursday despite a
drop in global oil prices.
Basrah Heavy rose by $1.11, or 1.88%, to settle at $60.18
per barrel, while Basrah Medium increased by 86 cents, or 1.40%, reaching
$62.48 per barrel.
Brent futures fell $1.67, or 2.5%, at $64.85 a barrel. West
Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude slipped $1.54, or 2.5%, to $60.48 a barrel.
