According to the current plans, by the end of 2026, the network of electric charging stations of the state operator “Belarusneft” will comprise no less than 1300 points. Currently, 975 are in operation. Last year, the enterprise “Belarusneft-Promservice” mastered the production of domestic charging stations.

Considering that most electric vehicles now come to Belarus from China, existing stations were equipped with Chinese standard GB/T connectors. Now, new facilities are immediately equipped with both European CCS connectors and Chinese ones.

In total, there are about two thousand public electric charging stations operating in Belarus today.

It was also previously announced that the authorities extended the zero customs duty on electric vehicles, and the quota for their import is 20 thousand cars.
