A 28-year-old man from Kosovo, Leun Kastrati from the village of Turjakë in Malisheva, has lost his life as a result of a serious accident that occurred in Slovenia.
The news was announced by the Turjakë village website, which expressed its deepest condolences to the victim’s family and announced that it would inform about the time of the funeral.
The accident occurred on the A1 highway, between Ljubljana and Maribor, near Slovenska Bistrica, when a fuel tanker overturned and burst into flames.
Regarding this tragic event, they have also reported media in Slovenia.
In addition to the victim, two other people were injured.
According to police reports, the accident occurred at around 08:00 in the morning. The driver of the tanker truck, traveling towards Maribor, lost control of the vehicle, crashed into the dividing barrier and then overturned on the opposite side of the highway, where a van also crashed.
The causes of the accident remain unclear, while authorities are continuing investigations to clarify the circumstances of the incident. /Telegraph/
