Chaotic and brutal scenes continue to emerge out of Minneapolis, as the federal government intensifies its sweeping immigration crackdown. Droves of residents and protesters have demonstrated daily against the massive operation and taken risks to record it. City and state leaders are calling for the roughly 2,000 federal officers deployed there to leave.

Federal immigration agents have dragged people from cars, used battering rams to enter homes and tear-gassed protesters. An Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer shot a protester in the leg late Wednesday, just one week after the killing of Renee Macklin Good spurred outrage and anti-ICE protests across the nation.
