Snow could be heavy at times Sunday and looks to linger into Monday morning.

A track farther north could mean some potential mixing for some, which could alter potential snow totals.

We will continue to monitor this system over the next few days to see how it develops.

Either way, it will be a brutally cold weekend with highs in the teens to near 20.

Timing of potential weekend snowstorm in the Philadelphia region

Because the system is still several days away, it’s still unknown when it will hit, but models are starting to show snow arriving overnight Saturday into early Sunday morning.

The cold weather will continue into the following week, leaving little chance for any snow we get this weekend to melt.
