Following an order of Belarus’ Head of State, Ambassador to Switzerland Aleksandr Ganevich has taken part in the Board of Peace signing ceremony, sb.by reports with reference to Belarus’ Foreign Ministry
The event took place on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
The signing of the document by US President Donald Trump has given the official start to the formation of a new international structure, which may become an additional effective tool for resolving international conflicts and disputes in various regions of the world in the future.
As a co-founder of the Board of Peace, Belarus is ready to play an active role in shaping a new architecture of global and regional security based on the principles of mutual respect and unconditional consideration of the national interests of the member countries of this association.
The Belarusian side sincerely supports any diplomatic efforts aimed at achieving peace and harmony through dialogue, ensuring progressive and sustainable economic development and mutually beneficial co-operation.
