Bank loans increased by 2.2% in
November compared to the same month in 2024, an increase from a
year-on-year rise of 1.8% in October, the Bank of Italy said on
Tuesday.

   
It said loans to households were up by 2.3% year-on-year, the
same as in October, but loans to non-financial private-sector
companies rose by 1.8%, up from 1.1% the previous month.

   
The Bank of Italy said private sector deposits increased by
2.6%, the same as in October.
