The number of tourists from Belarus who visited Georgia continues to grow. In 2025, over 150 thousand Belarusian citizens visited this country. This was
reported
by the Republican Union of Tourist Organizations, citing the Georgian National Tourism Administration. The Georgian agency noted that the past year was a record year for the total number of tourist visits.

Compared to 2024, when about 140.5 thousand Belarusians visited Georgia, in 2025 there were almost 9.8 thousand more. Thus, the growth was approximately 7%.

By the number of tourists, Belarus ranked among the top seven countries whose citizens most frequently visited Georgia. Only Russia, Turkey, Armenia, Israel, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan were ahead. India, Ukraine, and China also entered the top ten.

Overall, the tourist flow to Georgia in 2025 grew by 8.4% and reached a record 5.5 million foreign guests. The largest growth was recorded among tourists from Spain, Italy, Great Britain, Greece, and France.

From January 1, 2026, entry rules in Georgia changed: now all foreigners, including citizens of Belarus, must have a valid medical insurance policy or accident insurance.
