In the morning of January 25, in the Dnipro district of Kherson, the body of a man was found. According to preliminary data, the death was caused by injuries sustained during a night-time shelling by Russian forces. The information was released by the head of the city military administration, Yaroslav Shanko, in a post.

Circumstances of the death and the investigation

According to the prosecutor’s office, the man’s fatal injuries were inflicted by an attack from a Russian unmanned aircraft. Around 2:30, he was outside when the occupiers used an explosive device. The department has opened a pre-trial investigation into a war crime that led to the death of a person.

Earlier, the head of the regional military administration, Prokudin, reported that in a 24-hour period the Russian army shelled 35 settlements in Kherson region, and four people were injured.
