The FAI and technical partner Castore have unveiled the new Ireland home and away kits that will be worn by both the men’s and women’s national teams during the 2026 international season.

The launch marks a deliberate design and commercial reset, bringing the Men’s National Team (MNT) and Women’s National Team (WNT) back into the same kit cycle as both sides pursue World Cup qualification in a pivotal year for Irish football.

The home jersey features a deep green base with orange and white trim representing the Irish tricolour, while a shamrock emblem is positioned below the collar on the reverse of the shirt. The away kit has a white base with black trim, complemented by a light green and navy graphic design, and will be worn with navy shorts and white socks.

From a retail perspective, the kits are priced in line with premium football apparel across Europe. Adult replica jerseys are priced from approximately €145, with women’s and youth versions positioned below that level, at around €80. This places the FAI offering competitively alongside elite national team kits in rugby and football, albeit expensive for fans looking to keep up with the latest kits.

Pre-orders for the 2026 Ireland kits are now live through official FAI and Castore retail channels, with the association viewing kit sales as a key commercial pillar alongside sponsorship and broadcast revenues.

When the Castore deal was signed in 2023 it set a record for the amount of money involved in this key area.

“The kit is one of the most important commercial and cultural touchpoints we have with supporters,” said David Courell, Chief Executive of the FAI.

“Bringing our men’s and women’s teams back into the same design is a strong statement of unity, ambition and equality, and it’s matched by a retail offering that reflects the quality and pride associated with representing Ireland.”

The reunification of kits also reflects the sharede sponsorship from Sky Ireland and now the same visual identity.

Castore Co-Founder Tom Beahon said the design was built to balance heritage with modern performance demands.

“These kits are designed to perform at the highest level while telling a clear Irish story through colour, detailing and identity,” he said.

“Having both the men’s and women’s teams wear the same kit reinforces what the badge stands for and creates a stronger connection with supporters.”

With both senior teams entering a decisive qualification cycle in 2026, the FAI is positioning the new kits not just as matchday apparel, but as a central commercial asset capable of driving retail sales, supporter engagement and international visibility for Irish football.
